Net-metering programs are in place which allow excess electricity generated by an On-Grid PV system to flow back into the Grid. This offsets electricity you take from the grid in the past or future.
Off-Grid Solar Systems
Off-Grid Solar (PV) systems feed AC (alternating current) electricity directly to buildings on-demand. The system feeds DC (direct current) electricity into batteries, saving extra energy for later. Off-Grid Solar systems operate without a connection to a local grid, providing all your electricity and eliminating your electric bill entirely.
